Silver State VBC Staff

Pablo Gutierrez | 16 Silver

Pablo brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to Silver State. His training style blends his experience in two volleyball cultures: old Cuban/Russian school and NCAA CAP academic style. He uses both schools to train athletes to help them achieve their best level. Developing good mechanics and clean fundamentals are his top priorities during the first weeks of the season, strength and conditioning come next, and altogether this will provide the base for a fast-paced system. The team becomes one, and coaching becomes mentoring. His playing background includes: the Mexican National Team, collegiately in Puerto Rico, professionally in Spain, Argentina, and Puerto Rico, and establishing his own club in the ultra-competitive Chicago area.
